NEW WORK IN DEVELOPMENT

Enter the alchemical rock and roll world of Dizzy Miss Lizzie’s Roadside Revue, in which the magic realism of Bulgakov’s novel comes to play. The Roadside Revue conjures Professor Woland’s Emporium, where the story of tortured writers, lovers, and eternal redemption are reimagined. Loosely framed by Bulgakov’s unique retelling of the Faustian bargain, themes of courage and cowardice, the artist’s journey, and the currency of the soul meet with the assistance of Satan’s retinue, including a giant, rambunctious black cat. A kaleidoscopic, raucous, rock musical descent into hell, full of unexpected tenderness and contemplation of the human condition.
